We are all sorry we couldn’t stay and visit with everyone after Liturgy today. John really wanted to give several of you big hugs for all the prayers, love, and concern he has received.
We left immediately after because the oral chemo started making John nauseous about half way thru liturgy. God bless him, he's going to keep serving until he absolutely can't stand up. He was raised that if you where a boy, your place was behind the altar, period. He had really awesome parents who taught him obediance to God is always first. He told me when I asked if he was going to serve at Vespers yesterday even though he felt really bad, he said, "you go to the doctor when you are sick. Well, I'm going to "THE" doctor"! He's better this evening thank heavens. He is going into have the biopsy tomorrow morning.
And hopefully we’ll find out when he can start his IV chemo.
All of your prayers and love is substaining him.

Your brothers and sisters of Holy Ascension are in fervent prayer for Sbdn. John, asking that Jesus Christ, the Great Physician of our souls and bodies, extend his healing hand from on high.
It is our conviction that the water we sent, from the healing springs beneath the house of the Most Holy Theotokos, will be the true healing medicine. We ask her intercesion and assure you of our love, support and prayers for all the Dutcher family.

Hang In there Johnny Bob. We're all praying for you and hope you can get thru this with as little pain as possible. We all love you very much and anything you need just have to ask. We'll be there with bells on with whatever is needed. Sometimes we just have to be told what is needed. Got enough love to go around you and your family. You're in my prayers consistantly. Love you all so much. Your big sister Marty
All my love and prayers are with you and your family.

The Waguespack family lifted John up in prayer with the Grace UMC choir last Wednesday night. We will continue to pray for John and the entire family, and the gifts of faith, courage, and strength. We will offer a special prayer for John to be able to hold onto even a little of his wonderful sense of humour each and every day.
