Attending church where John was such a integral part is really hard on me. I have been going to Liturgy but leave immediately after. I guess it's because my heart is so full with knowing that the hosts of heaven and all those who have gone before us is really-really praising God right along with us. I've been assured with time it will get easier. Fr. Constantine and Rick Yeager have several videos on YouTube of different services. These are wonderful! I get to watch them when I need a physical glimpse of John at church. There are several, links are on the right of this blog. Check them out. If the links don't work, here is one; http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8636249339634322439 Just click on tab "More from User". Very beautiful.
My old normal is gone. Trying to create a new "normal". I went back to work all day today. It was tough but I made it through. I'm still dealing with all the financial issues that you have to handle with any estate. Today was frustrating! The brain is going in too many different directions but I hope with time it will calm done.
I helped Sarah and her friend, Matt, move most of her apartment into the garage and house. She still has several boxes of stuff but should have it all cleared out by tomorrow night. She is going to school four days a week and working nights and weekends. So again, trying to create a new "normal".
Jenny's school has started last week and is settling into a routine. She is teaching 24 fourth graders and is so happy they all seem to be really great children.
Heather, as you know is the Career Counselor for O.U. Gaylord College of Journalism. Classes started this week and is pretty hectic but I know she loves her work.
John Jeremiah has started 2nd grade and loves his teacher and class. He slid a sly look at his Mama when I asked if his teacher was pretty. He said, "she's pretty but my Mama is prettier." Aww, boys all love their Mama's! Corbin is just being your typical 3yr old. He is growing by leaps and has become a chatter-box. I went to dinner at their house the other night and he talked and talked my ears off. Grandchildren fill the gaps! I think that's why God gives them to us.
