Mixed news: Well, the nerve cauterization didn't work as well as expected. After the anesthesia wore off, some pain returned. We had a partial restless night but doctors think they have pain medicines in check. They are NOT going to remove the gall bladder because it seems to be working properly now and it would be too harsh to go in and remove it at this point.
They ARE going to send him home today with a new regiment of medicines so he can get rest at home, as you know that’s impossible at the hospital. We are both exhausted.
We will continue to post updates as to how he’s doing but if you call the house and get no answer, please don’t hesitate to leave a message. John has read all of your comments and good wishes and thanks you from the bottom of his heart. Pray without ceasing, love Nila, His Handmaiden.

Gald you are home! You are right, the hospital is no place to get any rest. i always sleep for a week when they let me out of there! Keep the faith, hopefully this pain will get under control and be gone. God is in charge!
