John will be posting the recent decision on the "walnut" tumor embulization sometime this weekend. In the meantime.....
As most of you know, Sbdn John has been working on a "little project" for the St. Andrews parish for sometime. He had offered to build the altar for their parish way before he was diagnosed. Well, as the saying goes, "a promise is a promise". Especially when it's made to God. Even though my husband has been ill, he has had some good days when he could work on that promise. It's taken longer than we originally thought it would, for obvious reasons. But by the grace of God and to His glory it is finished. It has also been through all of yours and others prayers being held up for Him to hear that John has had those "good days". Please enjoy a short video I put on YouTube (with music) to show the progression of this beautiful altar. The Redos (read table on top) was found about 25years ago by our own dear Fr. Basil McMurry at an antique store and was used in our "before orthodoxy" lifes. The parish of Holy Cross has kept it in storage and graciously given it to Fr. Mark's parish to serve HIS church.
The Last Supper plaque is an antique I found and had brought down from St Louis. ENJOY!!!!
