John had his monthly appointment with his oncologists yesterday. He is doing really well. All his numbers (platelets, red cell & white cell counts) are still looking good. They don't pull a cancer marker count (CA19-9) all the time though. Dr. Toma ordered a CT scan for May 21st. We'll hopefully be able to see how well the chemo is working then. But she said as far as she is concerned she does not need it because John is remarkable. We all knew that already! ;}
He also got his #1/round 3 IV-chemo yesterday. "Lumpy" put up a heck of a fight for awhile but after resting for several hours John felt better. He was able to attend the beautiful Holy Thursday services last evening. He is back at work today and feeling well. He is trying to work as much as possible, for as long as possible. Thank God for Loves Corporate. They have been wonderfully understanding and supportive.
We have so much to be thankful for this Pascha(Easter). Our friends and family are surrounding us with love and prayers continuously. May every one of you have a blessed Holy Week and Pascha!!!
