March 17, 2008 - Monday

(From John) Since we haven't updated the blog lately, I thought I'd update you all. I took my 4th Gemxar treatment this past Friday and they took my "markers" to see if the chemo is working. We get the results late this afternoon and expect good news, since I feel so much better. I have had to take minimal pain medication for the past week and have gained back a total of 9 pounds from a low of 152lbs. I had an excellent weekend and am feeling well today. I am on vacation this week and will be flying to Disney World with the whole family tomorrow morning. We were given the trip by our several Church families at St. Elijah and cannot express our gratitude enough. We return Friday late and will update the blog this weekend with news and pictures.Have a great week (I know we will) and we'll talk to you soon.
