After the success of the "spagetti experiment", we ventured into a really lean, thin sliced ham sandwich plus adding more protein drinks. Seems to have worked and he has a little discomfort but not too bad.

Yesterday was his #2 IVchemo, with no adverse effects. As a matter of fact, we got a little good news...John gained back 5lbs this week!

Thank you Lord!

He felt pretty good with the zofran(nausea med) & steroid

cocktail they give him before his chemo that he kept a promise to Heather. We went to the Pink & Black Ball at O.U. and he danced several slow dances with her as per her birthday wishes. We had a nice evening and fairly early night. God is in His heaven and watching out for John.
